Call for Papers: Playful Learning
Playful Learning 2020
University of Leicester, UK
8th - 12th July 2020
Playful in approach and outlook, yet underpinned by robust research and working practices, the Playful Learning conference provides a space where teachers, researchers and students can play, learn and think together. A space to meet other playful people and be inspired by talks, workshops, activities and events. In its home at the heart of England in Leicestershire, there are spaces that open the programme up to both indoor and outdoor activities, and evening activities that continue the playful learning and conversations after the formal programme ends.
The ethos of Playful Learning is to break the traditional conference mould, and programme a range of different types of talks and activities, from live research and theoretical explorations through to playtests and creative workshops. In turn, this means Playful Learning is open to everyone who has something to say, present, create or think about – regardless of background or experience.
Submissions are open across all areas relating to the use of play or playfulness in adult learning. Including – but not limited to – higher and further education, playful workplaces, and lifelong learning.
Deadline for submissions: 7th February 2020.
