Manchester Metropolitan University is hosting Global Game Jam 2026, part of the world’s largest game-making event, running simultaneously across hundreds of sites worldwide.

You’ll form small teams, respond to a surprise global theme, and build a playable game in just 48 hours. Designers, artists, programmers, audio, writers and complete beginners are all welcome.
