Continuing our Ecogame Ludography project, the Manchester Game Centre will be hosting a workshop on eco board games on Thursday November 16th.
The Ecogames Ludography project, funded by Game in Lab and the Libellud Foundation, is an ongoing participatory project that gathers information about, reflections and critiques on, and hacks of environmental and nature-themed games (ecogames!). This information is available as an open access ‘ludography’, a living document that records the development and play of ecogames.
This workshop will give you a chance to find out more about the project, play games with environmental themes, and be part of the next update of the ludography. Games we’re investigating include: Forests of Pangaia, Oak, Oros, Earth, Hamlet, Petrichor and more…!
If you’d like to get involved, please drop by and see us (no need to book!), we’ll be hosting and playing games all afternoon, and are happy to lend games to those who can’t stay.
The meeting takes place in the Manchester Game Centre office in Bellhouse (G0.1), All Saints Campus. If the door to the building is closed, please knock or email Paul (p.wake@mmu.ac.uk) and we’ll let you in.
