Playing Ancient Egypt

  • GM306, Geoffrey Manton Building, Manchester Metropolitan University Manchester UK (map)

In our first session of the year, join us to play a number of board games set in ancient Egypt! The session will be led by Jenny Cromwell (Senior Lecturer in Ancient Egypt, MMU), who will introduce the selected games and why she thinks they’re great, and will also happy to answer any questions about Egypt players may have. Selected games include Cleopatra and the Society of Architects (2020) and Nefertiti (2008). Come along whether you just want to play some games, or if you want to learn about ancient Egypt along the way.

This event will take place in person at Manchester Metropolitan University. It is open to the public. Please email mmgc@mmu.ac.uk for further information.
