Study With Us: PhD Scholarships at Manchester Metropolitan University
Manchester Metropolitan University is a member of the AHRC’s North West Doctoral Training Partnership and we’re pleased to announce that details of the funding scheme have just been announced. We’re keen to see applications in any area of game studies (please see our staff profiles for details of our individual research interests).
The AHRC NWCDTP provides funding opportunities students to undertake doctoral research and training. We have 15 discipline Pathways broadly organised as Histories, Cultures & Heritage; Creative and Performing Arts; Languages and Literatures. You can read about our Pathways, and see what kind of doctoral work has been funded in each one, on their dedicated pages. The AHRC NWCDTP particularly welcomes applications from students from backgrounds that are historically underrepresented in Higher Education. We have made a commitment to supporting those communities that often have been marginalised. We are at the beginning of a process which we hope will address the underrepresentation and inequalities within our organisation. At the NWCDTP we are working to address imbalances and to promote equality of opportunity.
